Today started out pretty good - I finished the Mei Tai I was making for MJ and B worked on my car. Took Baba to be weighed and he'd put on lots which was good and the HV was really happy with his progress. Found out that once I hand in my notice I'll automatically get my holiday pay in my last pay check (about 8 weeks time!! Wooooooo) So I've verbally handed my notice in, just need to back it up with a letter :)
Was supposed to be visiting the Beans for tea but set off in the 'fixed' car to find it wasn't fixed and after 5 mins of the journey had to turn back - B gets really annoyed when something he's fixed turns out not to be fixed after all and kept making comments about 'the weight' in the car being the problem. I know it sounds petty but I took that pretty personally so the journey home was in silence. I hadn't got anything prepared for tea either so that's pissed him off, and when I suggested pie and mash he moaned he wasn't hungry and decided to nap at the computer instead - he's now moaning that he aches and is tired!
I got home to an email from T to tell me she couldn't make Friday, am left feeling she might be making excuses but who knows? Hope everyone else turns up or once again I'll look like a fool.
Am really pissed that the Housemate didn't go to work today either - last night he joked about me calling in sick for him so I told him I'd do it if he could pay the rent still, hmmmmmmm don't think that's happening do you? I'm tired of asking both B and the Housemate to do their fair share of the cleaning - I'm not their Mother! I've enough to do with Baba!
